About LiveClick

Adds feed reading, notifications, favicons, and other enhancements to Live Bookmarks. (Addon for Firefox)

Feed previews (Firefox 2)

Preview a site’s feed by right-clicking the orange icon in the address bar.

Another feature missing from Firefox is the ability to preview feeds without first creating a Live Bookmark. LiveClick adds this ability. If you are visiting a site that broadcasts any feeds, the RSS icon RSS Icon will appear on the righthand side of the address bar. Right-click the icon to bring up a list of all available feeds. Then click the item you’d like to preview; middle-click to load the feed in a new tab.

Feed Button

Firefox 1.5 does not display RSS files very well, so I also suggest using the extension Feedview. Firefox 2.0 handles feeds much better, so you don’t need another extension for that version.

Why is “Preview Feed” so difficult to read?
Firefox 1.5 does not display RSS files very well, so I suggest using the extension Feedview.
