LiveClick 0.3.0.0 Final
Here is the final release of LiveClick 0.3.0.0. It contains mostly bug fixes. I decided to bump all requested options to the next version rather than try to include them in this version. I’ve just uploaded it to AMO, so until that goes public, use the link below to download. As always, if you encounters any problems, please let me know. Thanks!

Known issues (reversions from LiveClick 0.2.6.1):

Next entry: Future Builds (Beyond 0.3.0.0)
Previous entry: LiveClick 0.3.0.0 Beta 1
Thanks for the comments, weaver. Would it be better to remove the locale if it’s not completely translated? I was never quite sure what to do in those cases.
I would like to get LiveClick working with Weave. Unfortunately I haven’t been able to get Weave working at all on my test machines. As you say, it’s still an alpha, but I’ll keep trying and hopefully figure it out.
Thanks again for the comments. Suggestions and critiques are always welcome.

Hi!
Great extention, I use it regulary to read news and check blogs.
I like the monitoring feature and the fact that one can select which livemarks to monitor. It is a good way to keep up with different threads in which I have posted commented for example.
The feature would be even better if you could make the alert time changeable - so that it would not disappear when you are away for a minute, for example. Maybe even consider a way to keep the notification open until clicked upon or changed by livemark… rr maybe an alert-icon could be shown on the status bar - I think wizz rss or brief had a similar feature?

Thanks for the comment, Janek. I like the idea. I do plan to improve the alerts in an upcoming version. When I do, I’ll try to include this feature. The statusbar icon may be something I can add more quickly. I’ll be sure to check out wizz rss and brief. Thanks again!

I’m having an issue with RSS links not opening every other time I click on one. I’m having to right click and open using the menu. Also RSS feeds not displaying favicons. Very good extension otherwise.

I have discovered that this extension is a memory hog and is the main reason that my pc has been running unusually slow. I am disabling this useful extension until this issue has been corrected. I love liveclick but it needs repairing. I hope your next build fixes this.

Great job, thanks!
Here’s a very simple wish for next update: let us choose the locale. Or let us disable localized strings if we’d rather read English than a mixed translation. I understand this would be much faster than waiting for all incomplete translations to be finished, and many of us don’t mind English text anyway.
Here’s a more difficult wish, for future versions: make it work with the Weave extension, so any feeds read in one computer will appear as read in all our other computers. Since Weave is in alpha status, I guess this won’t happen until they have their plugin architecture finished. But you could consider it as a long term project.
