Previous entry: LiveClick 0.4.1.0
Thanks for all your work on this. One of the few add-ons that stops me ever switching away from Firefox

This bug still exists btw:
~~~
I’m having the same issue many others have been listing since version 0.4.x with the “live bookmark feed failed to load”. This is occurring with all of my personalized tvrage rss feeds for example (http://www.tvrage.com/myrss.php?tid=51039&hash=712ce52b8b601924360c590a33710631) but I never had this problem with any 0.3.x version. Removing the feed and re-adding it allows it to load once but it never loads again. Hopefully this is an easy fix and that something can be done eventually. smile
I don’t know what happened, but this last version broke the way feeds are displayed.
I cannot see the favicons, the boldface fonts, the unread counts. I cannot tell what is being updated or not.
I am reverting to the previous version until this one is fixed…
Hi, I’ve been having an issue with the Clicking Livemarks options. Selecting the Middle Click option appears to have no effect, as my browser resorts to the default option of opening all links in tabs. This has lead me to accidentally opening many tabs at once from some busy feeds.
I tried this earlier today on a full reinstall of Firefox 6.0.2 (including personal settings) on W7 Pro SP1, with version 0.4.2.0 of Liveclick and no other extensions. I’d probably have reverted to a pre-0.4 version, but those don’t support Firefox 6.
every few weeks or so bookmarks on the bookmark toolbar folder fail to work. the ones in the bookmark menu always work fine. REALLY ANNOYING. No easy fix.
I notices another small bug since version 0.4:
When I update an RSS-feed, the old top entry stays on line one while the new entries follow from line 2.
Example:
old entries:
a
b
c
d
e
refresh RSS-feed to load new entries A B C. Now the bookmark shows:
a <—- this one should come after “C”
A
B
C
b
c
d
e
I don’t know what recent FF updated caused it (I am using 7.01 now) but once again LiveClick is incompatible with the PersonalTitlebar addon.
If you have livemarks in the menubar, and use PersonalTitlebar: Upon starting the browser, it will not show favicons nor boldface for the items that require it.
The only workaround is to > show menubar >hide menu bar, then the favicons and text variants appear.
I tested this a lot and I can positively say that the conflict is between LiveClik and PersonalTitlebar. Both addons, unfortunately are unique in their genre so they cannot be replaced.
Please fix this! Thanks!
Suggestion for new feature/improvement:
Keep the Live Bookmark history in sync via XMarks.
Very annoying bug: “live bookmark feed failed to load”. It also skips items, so this addon became pretty much useless. Waiting for the bugfix.
Any word on the longstanding bug which results in feeds failing to load? This bug has existed for nearly a year at this point and I’m starting to wonder if it will ever be resolved. :(
