Frequently Asked Questions
Answers to common questions about Liveclick.
How do I change a livemark’s favicon?
If you wish to manually change the icon of a livemark (or any bookmark), LiveClick is somewhat compatible with the Favicon Picker extension. More details can be found in the article Favicons, Favicon Picker.
How do I disable favicons for livemarks?
If you prefer the default RSS folder icon
, visit LiveClick’s options and uncheck the “Display favicons instead of livemark icon” setting. You may need to restart Firefox before changes take effect.
How do I monitor a Live Bookmark for new items?
LiveClick does not automatically select which Live Bookmarks to monitor. You must do this manually via LiveClick’s options. You can either set LiveClick to monitor all Live Bookmarks (including new ones you later subscribe to), or you can specify which Live Bookmarks to monitor by checking them off from a list.

You can also turn on monitoring for Live Bookmarks one at a time. Right-click the desired bookmark and select “Monitor Live Bookmark.” A similar option can be found in the Live Bookmark’s properties dialog.
You will be notified about new items when the monitored Live Bookmark is next updated. By default, Firefox checks for updated Live Bookmarks every time Firefox starts and every 60 minutes after that. You can change the time interval in LiveClick’s options.
